Principal’s Welcome

Calrossy is a Christian community empowering purposeful lives through the provision of outstanding education, a focus on holistic growth and opportunities.

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to Calrossy Anglican School.

Having existed for over 100 years, standing on an Anglican Foundation and informed by our Christian ethos, Calrossy is dedicated to nurturing and developing each student to their fullest potential. We empower our students with not only academic knowledge but also with hope and character that will guide them to become flourishing adults in our changing society. At the heart of our School are core values of selflessness, integrity, resilience, and inclusiveness.

We recognise the importance of holistic education, in which learning extends beyond the classroom walls. Our staff are committed to a supportive and nurturing environment in which every child explores their interests, develops their talents and embraces challenge with resilience and determination. Our Boarding community is integral to the ‘DNA’ of Calrossy. We are committed to positive outcomes for rural and regional students, day and boarding, with a focus on people and relationships.

I encourage you to explore the various programs, activities, and opportunities that we offer to our students. Whether it's our rigorous academic curriculum, enriching co-curricular activities, or our commitment to community service, we are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education that equips our students for success in study, career, and life.

Whilst I trust you will find much of what you need online, I invite you to visit one of our campuses in Tamworth, where the character of Calrossy and the culture and ‘vibe’ of our students can be observed first-hand. We would love you to come and join us.

What are your main entry points?

The Calrossy Journey

Students may commence their Calrossy learning journey at any stage of their education. However, most families find th98ÌÃapp Prep provides a perfect headstart for their children, igniting the love of learning at an early age. Our Prep students have a seamless transition into Kindergarten and the Junior School.

Calrossy has one of its largest intake of students in Year 7 each year, where our Boarding Program and Secondary education begins. Each year we welcome the transition of our Year 6 boys and girls into Secondary, as well as many new faces from across Tamworth and New South Wales.

Our unique model also places Year 10 as a popular entry point to the School, where students transition to our Senior Secondary Campus, which offers various academic and vocational pathways. This allows these students to prepare for the demands of the Senior years and maximise their success and Wellbeing.

Calrossy accepts entry into any year group, and throughout the year, if there are available places.
